A Toronto web studio

SERVITH designs, builds and hosts websites for small businesses in Toronto: bakeries, salons, restaurants, contractors and manufacturers. We also built Orderdale, so a small shop can take orders online without handing over a cut of every sale.

Questions

Is the Orderdale setup really free?

Yes. There's no setup fee and nothing to sign. Your store starts on Orderdale's Free plan, and you only pay if you choose a bigger plan later. We take only three setups a day, Monday to Friday, so pick the day we start at checkout.

What do I need to send for a store?

Your products and prices, how customers pay you, and how they get their order. Photos and a logo help, but we can start without them. The checkout asks for everything, step by step.

How do my customers pay?

Directly to you: Interac e-Transfer, cash, or a payment link you already use. The money never passes through us, and Orderdale takes no fee on your sales.

Who owns the store?

You do. We hand it to your Google account, and once you accept it, only you and the people you invite can change it. Products, prices, photos and the look of your page are all yours to edit.

What does a custom website cost?

The build starts at C$900, plus how it runs: Fully Managed + Hosting at C$540 a year (from C$1,440 the first year), a One-time Infrastructure Setup on hosting you own at C$450 (from C$1,350), or full ownership with the source code at C$1,350 more (from C$2,250). Your domain is billed separately; the final price depends on the pages and features.

How long does a website take?

Usually 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the pages and features. Your quote comes with a timeline, and two rounds of changes are included while we build.

When do I pay for a website?

Nothing when you send your request. We reply with a quote; once you accept it, your order page shows how to pay.

Who owns my website?

With managed hosting, SERVITH keeps the design and code and you use the site while your plan is active; your logo, text and photos stay yours. A source code handover moves the code and its GitHub repository to your account, for 100% of the build fee.

Who is it for?

Small businesses in Canada: bakers, caterers, florists, salons, restaurants, contractors, classes and studios, online or in person.
